Waterproof and nimble, the Keen Gypsum hiking shoes offer a lightweight platform and stout protection from the elements for excellent trail performance.
- Waterproof nubuck leather uppers offer ample durability, flexibility and breathability for lasting comfort on and off the trail
- KEEN.DRY™ waterproof breathable membranes keep feet dry while allowing perspiration to dissipate before it saturates the inside of the shoe
- Patented rubber Toe Guards protect feet and uppers from impacts and abrasion
- Removable Metatomical EVA footbeds are shaped to provide ample cushioning and arch support; can also accommodate orthotics
- Compression-molded EVA midsoles offer shock-absorption and padding for all-day comfort
- External thermoplastic urethane heel stabilizers support feet on impact, dissipate shock and reduce the chance of twisting an ankle
- Supportive plates provide torsional stability and protection from uneven and rocky terrain
- Keen Gypsum hiking shoes have nonmarking rubber outsoles with aggressive 4mm multidirectional lugs to deliver durability and traction
- Fit tip: runs about a 1/2 size small

I have been wearing these shoes everyday, and I love them. Very comfortable. I bought them for a vacation with alot of walking and sightseeing. I expect them to fit the bill perfectly. I tried them on with my thickest hiking socks, and they felt fine. Some difficulty in getting them tight enough with everyday socks. During the initial break in period, they did pinch at the laces, but that ended after 2-3 days.

Used these shoes with Superfeet green inserts. Absolutely no break in was needed, and these were the most comfortable shoes or boots I have ever hiked in. We hiked 9 miles up and down hills, and my feet were only a bit tired at the end. My feet always have problems, until now. Great shoes. Can't recommend these any more highly.
