Rated5out of5bymemafromComfortable and dry.Used these on a wet, muddy, slog up a mountain (not the specified use, but hey, that's what versatile clothes are for.) They kept me clean and dry in drizzle and very slippery mud. The legs are a bit long for me, but I'm short. My only complaint is I wish they had pockets.

Rated5out of5byjjricebabyfromSuper Waterproof Pants Made for Moving!!First bought a pair for my tall 10-yr-old who needed long-waisted pants to keep her dry in the snow. She wore them all winter long, playing outdoors and walking to/from school. She maintains a high body temperature and I was very surprised that she often kept them on all day long! They breath very well! They are highly waterproof, comfortable, durable, and very cute with the small, white detailing.
The second pair I bought for myself, after longing to borrow my daughter's! I love the fit: with the high waist (don't want cold air and water on my back), the room in the hips and upper leg, and the tapered lower leg with elastic ankle and velcro ankle closure. The cut allows for freedom of movement. The design of the leg allows a shorter person to wear the pants with no issues of bagging. I am 5'5", 130lb, compact build, bike commuter. I chose a size larger, M, because I like lots of room for extra layers in cold weather. Could have worn a Small with layers, but like my pants loose. Have not had a chance to try them in warm weather.

Rated4out of5byMom in the WildfromPerfect, but maybe not for biking...While I have actually rarely biked in these pants, and that I would have to agree that the pants are extremely generous with space, these pants are my favorite rain pants, not only that, but in those minus F days up here I put these on top of my normal warm running pants and they insulate perfectly without condensation. Whenever we have wet weather or wet conditions, these pants are just perfect for hiking or just about any outdoor activity.
In fact, they are my go-to pants for outdoor activities.
But again, they are spacious and while other bike pants of similar kind (just not as good) have velcro to keep the lower leg bulk out of the chain, these do not, so I can imagine that they are not suited for that. Also, if you prefer to be extremely noiseless while moving about, these are not for you. They do have a good rain-gear "swoosh" to them.
I won't complain. I love these pants, and if they weren't categorized as bike pants they would be five stars plus.
