Comments about Novara Express 2.0 Bike Pants - Women's:

While I have actually rarely biked in these pants, and that I would have to agree that the pants are extremely generous with space, these pants are my favorite rain pants, not only that, but in those minus F days up here I put these on top of my normal warm running pants and they insulate perfectly without condensation. Whenever we have wet weather or wet conditions, these pants are just perfect for hiking or just about any outdoor activity.
In fact, they are my go-to pants for outdoor activities.
But again, they are spacious and while other bike pants of similar kind (just not as good) have velcro to keep the lower leg bulk out of the chain, these do not, so I can imagine that they are not suited for that. Also, if you prefer to be extremely noiseless while moving about, these are not for you. They do have a good rain-gear "swoosh" to them.
I won't complain. I love these pants, and if they weren't categorized as bike pants they would be five stars plus.

I will be returning these pants. I can't comment on their waterproofness or breathability because I won't keep them long enough to find out. The fit is really bad. They are cut extremely full in the upper leg and narrow in the lower leg. The excess fabric billows around my thighs, making it uncomfortable to walk, and the fabric bunches around my knees when pedaling, making it uncomfortable to cycle. I bought the XS and they fit around the waist but are barely long enough, so I don't think the problem is that they are the wrong size. The cut is just really weird.
