Comments about Patagonia Primo Down Insulated Jacket - Women's:

This is an extremely high quality jacket, as indicated by the price. I hesitated even spending the sale price on it but it is definitely worth it. Beautiful construction, and super warm down lining that goes all the way down the sleeves. All that down and it isn't bulky. I like that.
Unfortunately, I had to return it. The maraschino color was far too "orange-y red" in person, while in the photo it looks like a red that has a lovely blue base to it. It doesn't. Also, I am 5'2" with a muscular, hourglass figure (read: "busty") and the large was tight across the chest. I'm also pretty short-waisted and it didn't hit me right at the hips. Got all bunchy at the waist in the back. I also felt constricted when I zipped it up while wearing a fleece top underneath. Perhaps an XL would be better but then I would probably have issues with the sleeves being too long since they were almost too long as it was.
Despite all that, I would recommend the coat to anyone looking for a good ski/snowboard coat that will last for years and years. It really is constructed very well.
