            Comments about Patagonia Refugio Pack:

I thought I would really like this backpack for work but found it too long for my torso so I had to return it. I also tried the REI Quantum Daypack but it, too, had to be returned. None of the "women's" backpacks have the features I want so I'm still looking for the right bad.

            Comments about Patagonia Refugio Pack:

I bought this to use for work since I bike/ motorcycle commute. It is great. The large compartment opens wide enough for a large laptop. Good side water bottle pockets. Fleece lined sunglass pocket is very convenient. My only complaint is that there is no really small zippered pocket for things like a USB stick.

Great bag! Well sewn and well thought out. It's just a tad bit too small, but I knew that when I bought it. 1/2 more cubic feet of space and it would be a cosmic bag!!

              Comments about Patagonia Refugio Pack:

I ordered this backpack to get my laptop and supplies to/from work and also for travel. It's difficult to find a backpack that fits my Dell 17.3" laptop, but I was really hoping this would work. I could slide it into the laptop sleeve, but I could barely zip the zipper around my computer. The corners of my computer looked like they wanted to poke through the fabric! So there is only some fabric between that end of my laptop and the rest of the world, which is frankly not enough. This seems like a more casual-use backpack and isn't really a serious laptop bag. Very lightweight though, and colors are nice-looking.

Great for everything I haul to and from work (notebook, iPad, Kindle, rain jacket, etc.). Just wish water bottle pockets had drawstrings (I ended up sewing/gluing velcro closures).

                Comments about Patagonia Refugio Pack:

I was looking for the perfect daypack for a trip out of the country. Needed something lightweight & durable that would carry all of my 'traveler' essentials such as camera, water bottles, 10 essentials, kid's stuff, etc. Looked at all of the packs at two REI, [@] and [@] and picked this Patagonia. Was everything I needed! FYI, I got the Tuscan Olive, NOT the pink one!
