Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
My wife bought these boots and loves them. She says they are pretty much the warmest boots ever and it has enabled her to venture out on cold weather hikes, which she never wanted to do in the past. They also slip on and off very easily. Overall, excellent boots.

Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
These are warm, but if you're in below freezing temps for long periods of time, they are bit better if you use toe warmers. They are heavy but certainly comfortable.

Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
I have owned these for a 3 years and do not wear them often. Today it was 10 degrees outside and the cracked! The top of one of the boots has split open. They have a one year warranty. I thought NorthFace made better products.

Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
I finally got a chance to wear these boots in a slushy snowfall. Traction was excellent, even while crossing a stream on slippery logs. WaterPROOF. Sloshing through two to three inches of water and mud, my feet were *bone* dry and warm. They are not very flexible and make you walk a little funny, but such is the nature of winter boots. Getting them off and on is a breeze, lacing up very easy and they open wide enough that getting your feet in and out and tucking in pant legs is a snap. My only complaint was that the toe box seemed a little small, but that may just be because it was the first time wearing them and the fuzzy inside will eventually smush down a little. I had on two pairs of socks (one very thin, the other medium smartwool) so that may be part of it, too...I like to have room for my toes to wiggle. Overall...SO pleased with these boots!

Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
When I opened the box, my first thought was "This is a serious boot!" I was looking for a boot to wear in and around the barn that would be warm and totally waterproof for those muddy days, and I believe this boot will be perfect for that. I ordered a half size up and I'm glad I did as they are pretty snug around the toes. It is bulky, but I think it needs to be in order to be as warm and waterproof as possible. I wore them around the house and they are so comfortable, I didn't notice the bulkiness

Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
These boots are VERY warm, but I found that the faux-fur lining inside made them too constricting for my feet. I got a size 10 thinking they would be big enough to accommodate room for thick socks- yet despite being huge on the outside they squished my feet on the inside. I would've need to go up an extra half-size to be comfortable but found that a little too bulky. So I would recommend them for warmth, but I ended up going with a different boot.

Good winter boot - secure footing on snowy and icey hills. Better warmth with a good wool sock.

Comments about The North Face McMurdo II Winter Boots - Women's:
When shoveling or taking long walks in the snow; my feet stayed warm and dry. I usually wear a 7 but got a 7.5 instead and fits perfect. When first putting them on they seem bulky; but after you walk in them for a bit there fine.
