Comments about Swany X-Therm Mittens - Women's:
I really like the way these mittens fit, they are extremely warm for their size (not too bulky) and they fit, well, like a glove :) My only criticism would be that the liner isn't removable or even reversible in some way, so they don't really offer the flexibility of being able to remove the liner to wash it, but aside from that I've used them 1 season snowboarding and they are my favorite mittens so far.

Comments about Swany X-Therm Mittens - Women's:
I bought these gloves for running on cold and snowy days. I used them today for the first time in 10 degrees and snowy conditions. I have to say they exceeded my expectations. My fingers were toasty warm and very comfortable. The gloves are well made and worth the price.

Comments about Swany X-Therm Mittens - Women's:
I bought these mittens to wear walking my dogs early in the morning and at night in sub-freezing temps and planned to use them hiking and camping as well. There are so many fantastic things about these mittens; They are stylish, I love the leather palms, I appreciate the waterproof zipper. Unfortunately, everytime I have worn them my fingers have been cold because they DID NOT TAPE THE SEAMS. What a sad oversight. I am returning these to REI.

Comments about Swany X-Therm Mittens - Women's:
Wore my new Swany x-term mittens for the 1st time today while walking the dog in Chicago's 1st real winter day of 2012. These may be the warmest mittens I've ever owned. Walked for 40 min. in the 20-degree weather and my fingers never felt at all cold. They're also flexible so it was easy to hold the leash. Expensive, yes, but well worth it so I can feel comfortable enjoying being outside during the winter. My husband also likes the men's version I bought him.

Comments about Swany X-Therm Mittens - Women's:
Have worn these for snowboarding several times now. They've kept my hands warm and dry in 20-30 degree conditions. I fall down a lot so my hands are in the snow a lot! They are extremely supple, with soft leather palms. This is the only women's mitt where my thumb tips aren't jammed. They fit perfectly and aren't as bulky as men's mitts. They do take a little longer to dry because the soft, glove-like liners aren't removable. I'm going to get a second pair!

Comments about Swany X-Therm Mittens - Women's:
I purchased these mittens after suffering through the snow storms of 2010 with only thin gloves, and they have been wonderful! While they are mittens, your fingers slide into fleece fingers inside the mitten cover offering incredible warmth. They are windproof and waterproof as billed in the product specs. Also - I love the zippered pockets on the back of each glove - they are perfect for stashing a house key, etc if you're headed out for a run in cold weather, etc. I am headed to Eastern Europe for work, and I can't wait to get these up in the mountains!
