I wear these pants walking/running to and from work. Living in the washington dc area, the commute times can be very chilly during the winter. These pants kept me warm and dry during those runs. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the "boot" zipper sometimes catches under the heel of my shoes and digs into my skin.

I was impressed on how well both the pants and the shirt worked. At first glance they are thin, with a soft fleece type liner on the inside. I was a little concerened that they would not be warm enough. I wore these as my "skin" layer, with a heavier breathable jacket and bib combo specific to snowmobiling. What an outstanding job this combination did to not only keep me warm, but to effectivley wick ALL moisture away, and keep me dry. I was riding in -25 degree F weather, and there were times when I felt almost too warm. At the end of the day I was dry, comfortable, and very impressed.

These are very nice pants, but they are not great for runners. They are too restrictive and they don't move well. I usually run about four miles each morning. In these pants, I was exhausted before I got to the mile mark.
