I bought this jacket as an all around ski and backpacking jacket. It had great styling and features. Multiple pockets that were conveniently placed and easy to access. Except for a faulty zipper (that was replaced) the zippers performed very well even in high stress conditions. I had purchased a medium at first but decided to exchange for a large in order for better layering. I had thought the sleeves were long in the medium but added almost 2 full inches when moving up to the large. I tried making it work but finally had to return one of my most favored jackets. I just couldn't stand how much extra fabric bunched at my wrist because the sleeves were too long!

I had high hopes for this jacket. I read and accepted that it would be stiff and loud (not a problem for me). I need a shell for long, cold and wet days in the bush while paddling BW or the Quet. So, who makes these jackets? Body fit with layers is good. Arms are WAY TOO LONG and tight. Even without layering. I mean, who are they making this stuff for? Narrow armed Orangutans? Certainly not a human of average build.
