    I can only assume you're a rep for eVent as I find your review laughable in it's absurdity. The GoreTex pro shell fabric is phenomenal in it's breathability, weight and durability. I sweat a LOT and this jacket has performed beyond my expectations in the mountains. For comparison, I have owned eVent "technology" and while it works for the price point, you won't come close to the performance of this product...

      Comments about Patagonia Super Pluma Jacket - Men's:

      This fabric has absolutely zero air permeability. Its like wearing a plastic trash bag. If you really want Patagonia get the cheaper (and equaly zero-permeable) StormChaser.
      This type of fabric bas been made completely obsolete by eVent and similar coated fiber technology. The old permeable membrane stuff was hip in your parent's generation. Try it yourself; try to breathe through any jacket you are considering. With eVent you can literally breathe through it.
