The REI Alpine Lakes (with a 30 in. inseam) are all-purpose waterproof, breathable pants made for backpacking and hiking. They'll also work in a pinch for mountain biking or skiing.

  • 2-layer REI Elements® laminated nylon fabric offers waterproof, breathable protection; mesh and taffeta linings are strategically placed to aid breathability and comfort
  • Fabric is windproof to 60 mph and has a textured face and a soft, quiet hand
  • Back elastic waist and side rip-and-stick tabs adjust the fit for comfort; feature a zipper fly and snap closure
  • Full-length side zippers offer ventilation control and easy removal of pants over footwear; double stormflaps enhance the weatherproofness of the Alpine Lakes pants
  • 2-snap tabs at cuff bottoms adjust the fit
  • Alpine Lakes pants feature 2 zip hand pockets and 1 zip back pocket
  • Articulated knees allow comfortable range of motion with no tugging

    Comments about REI Alpine Lakes Rain Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:

    These pants are amazing! They never leaked, breathed very well and held up to abrasion and embers from the fire. The length is just maybe a little longer but its not that bad. The waist size that I bought was too big and kept falling down, even though I tried them on in the store. Easy fix though by exchanging them for the next size down. Over all great pants, well worth the money.
