Rated5out of5byindyyfromSuper comfy, versatile jacketI own several North Face jackets, including another soft shell (Apex Bionic), and this is probably my favorite. It's good in the wind and though I haven't worn it in extreme moisture, it seems to repel light to moderate rain/snow with no seepage. The inner fleece lining is SUPER soft. Additionally, I generally have a problem with the hoods on jackets covering my eyes, but the hood on this one is perfect. It provides protection from the wind/cold without impairing vision. It's also far less stiff than similar jackets from TNF-- sometimes the stiff neck on the Apex Bionic bugs me, but this jacket has no similar issues. I'd say it is fairly true to size IF you don't plan on layering. If you want to layer more than just a thin fleece pullover, I'd recommend sizing up, as the whole jacket (and especially the sleeves) are quite fitted. Obviously unless you layer this isn't going to keep you warm in frigid temperatures, but it still provides decent warmth for how light it is. Overall I really like this jacket. It's warm for a soft shell, has a great hood, and seems well-made. I'd definitely recommend it.

Rated5out of5byNW GirlfromCould Live in ThisI wear this coat to walk around campus and for general use. I absolutely love this jacket. The soft-shell exterior is lightweight, and pretty wind and rain resistant. I wouldn't wear it in a down pour but when it sprinkles it does its job. The fur on the inside is extremely soft and I would wear this 235 days a year if I could. My only concern is washing it.

Rated5out of5bySShunfromLove it! So warm!I love this jacket and wear it all the time. It's warm (I have been wearing it in 20-30 degree weather), the inner lining is soft and comfortable. I have longer arms and it's always hard for me to find jackets with long enough sleeves; this has sleeves that are perfect for me and the jacket fits me so well. Highly recommend this jacket.

Rated1out of5bymom of college studentfromPocket zipper problems! The fit and weight of this jacket are perfect for autumn weather in Western Washington but the pocket zippers both came apart on my daughter's first use of the jacket. We returned it and ordered another since the hooded version was out of stock in the store. Within two weeks one of the pocket zippers has broken again! Very disappointing and we will be trying a different coat.
