The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about RIO Adventure Compact Expandable Table:
The specs listed on REI website differ from the manufacturer.
I ordered specifically to fit inside of my Pelican 1650 case. REI Specs the folded dimensions as 28.25" in length.
The length of the Pelican is 28.5". This should have provided enough room to store the table in the case.
Turns out (after looking at the manufacture website the actual length is 30". I assume this measurement includes the carry case. The actual longest length of the table base is 29.5. A full 1.25" longer then what REI lists.
Back to the store the table goes, it won't fit in my case.
As far as the table.. I never got to use it.
It has nice features, but folding it back up is a little pain. The slats seem to fold awkwardly (straining the bungy straps underneath). It doesn't really "fold" back to place nicely.
It opens fast and easy... Mostly because in the stored position the bungy straps are stretched/strained... Therefore when you unhook the velcro it just pops open wildly. Plus keeping the slats store with the bungy "strained" seems like it would limit the life span of the straps.

Comments about RIO Adventure Compact Expandable Table:
I used this table as the stand for my Volcano stove. It works well for that but...on non-level ground, the adjustable leg doesn't adjust to compensate, and the table is semi-impossible to break down without trying several times because the top folds up really weirdly. It's like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. If you have small children I would NOT recommend this product---it's too easy to pull over.

Comments about RIO Adventure Compact Expandable Table:
I tried the larger table first, but returned it for this one. This is VERY lightweight, the tote bag is smaller than a camp chair, and you can set it up as a small square table or larger rectangular table. I use it for the camp stove, cooking etc. It wipes clean easily and is easy to set up and take down. I could carry this into a primitive camp site for a mile or so if I needed to. It is a little flimsy, but if it is not abused should last for several years. If you are not too "gorilla" on your equipment, you will like this table.
