The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Giro Trans Road Bike Shoes - Men's:
I have only used these for several 15 to 20 minute spin rides on a trainer indoors and a 22 mile ride outside. I felt the power transfer was improved over the specialized tri shoes I had been using. No hot spots developed

Comments about Giro Trans Road Bike Shoes - Men's:
I have ridden the Trans for about 18mo now and it is now my commuter shoe. Though there is chipping of the clearcoat, the sole is standing up to missed clips well. There are zero problems, no loose stitches, no malfunctions, no pieces coming loose.
I tried these on with several other shoes in-store and the Giros were untouchable. Giro's last must have been molded from my foot. No part of my foot disagrees with this shoe. The heel has never slipped or felt unsure. The toebox doesn't squeeze. The arch cradles my foot perfectly. The sole is stiff enough I don't detect any flex, even mashing uphill. If Giro offered Speedplay soles I wouldn't have moved on to Sidis. I like the Giro fit better even without all the techno features. If I need three-hole or SPD shoes again I will definitely be getting Giros.

Comments about Giro Trans Road Bike Shoes - Men's:
I was a little skeptical of these shoes when reviewing the specs. Let me tell you, however, they felt great at first. Now that I've broken them in, they feel unbelievably good. The different arch inserts enable you to map the shoe comfort to your specific foot shape. What this means is that you feel as though your entire foot is applying even pressure throughout the pedaling stroke. I'm not getting any cramping or weird foot pain like with my other shoes - and I typically ride 50-70 miles on a weekend trip. Admittedly, they're a bit on the expensive side, but, like most things in life - you get what you pay for. Definetely a solid, solid shoe.
