Comments about CamelBak Antidote Reservoir - 50 fl. oz.:
We bought this in anticipating of hiking to the top of Yosemite Falls in spring. This was the bladder for my 9-year old athletic daughter's day pack (REI's Tarn 30 for kids). She drank about 4/5 of it for the day, and had some left over. She enjoyed having the tube there to hydrate on the go. She also enjoyed the locking mechanism so it didn't waste water.
Her only complaint is that it allows you to drink so much water that you 'have to pee on the trail.' (there are no restrooms in Yosemite's wilderness!) Better to be hydrated and pee on a tree than dehydrated, though! One thing she did not enjoy was drying it when it was done, so we bought the drying/cleaning kit after our first experience.

Comments about CamelBak Antidote Reservoir - 50 fl. oz.:
I bought this bladder several months ago along with the Mountain Hardwear Race Vest. I have not had a single issue with this product and have worn it for several long trail runs and a few Ultra Marathons. Filling is super easy, as is closing the lid as it only requires a quarter turn when the arrows are lined up properly. The quick release hose is a nice feature. Not sure why others are having such issues with this product but to me it's the perfect size for running and fast hikes.

Comments about CamelBak Antidote Reservoir - 50 fl. oz.:
Used this 3 times on White Mountain (NH) hikes. I filled it for my next hike packed my pack and about 10 minutes later tried it on for pack balance. My lower back got soaked. Unpacked and found a pool of water in the bottom and the Camelbak leaking. Had to repack in another pack and carry water bottles.

Comments about CamelBak Antidote Reservoir - 50 fl. oz.:
It takes some care not to spill water trying to secure the lid if you want to fill to max capacity. I like the wide mouth for ease of cleaning. I like that the tube disconnects. Nice bite valve with good flow. The reservior leaked all over my stuff today. I found it had a pin hole near the bottom. May have some warranty. I'm checking now.

Comments about CamelBak Antidote Reservoir - 50 fl. oz.:
I purchased this as a replacement for a 1.5 ltr. Platypus that had worn out.
When I unpacked the CamelBak, it seemed tiny. So I measured the capacity. It may barely hold the stated capacity, but with its stiff cap there is no way I could not lose a substantial amount of water when closing it.
I returned it for a better product.
