These chacos are great! They are supportive, easily adjustable and fit very well. The two strap design makes them fit your feet even better than the single strap design. I use these for long-distance, lightweight backpacking in the summer, and they have worked out much better for me than trail runners or lightweight hiking boots.
They do take a little bit of time to break in & to get used to, but once you figure it out, chacos are fantastic.

This is my second pair of "Chaco ZX/2 Unaweep Sandals - Women's by Chaco" after 5 yrs. My last pair I wore every single day even in the snow. I got new sandals because my straps finally broke after wearing them for 5 yrs strait. Very comfortable. I highly recommend these if you are an outdoor fanatic or even if your not they are quite trendy. The grip these sandals have is absolutely amazing. they will grip the face of a rock no problemo. I love these sandals and another plus is they leave wicked tan lines.

Got this at an REI returns shelf. I usually wear a 7 1/2 w, so I got the 8w. They fit perfectly. I went up so that they were a little loose at the store, but are still comfortable after lots of walking. Hiked 7 miles around Castle Rock State Park with out any problems besides dirty feet! With knee issues good support is necessary and most of the time sandals that is hard to find. These sandals give me so much support that hiking significantly uneven terrain did not cause me any hesitation without a knee brace.
I will never go back to a different brand of sandals!
They also go from water to shore well. They dry fast and don't retain any lake smells that might be unwanted in town.

I've had these for a year or so now, and I love pretty much everything about them. I have wide, flat, and generally unattractive and usually uncomfortable feet, and these are great (people even tell me they're cute!). It did take a little while for the straps to quit tightening up, but now I almost never have to readjust them. I have enough space in them so when my feet swell up a little in the heat, they're still comfortable. I've never had a blister from them. They're great for hiking, biking, splashing around in the water, running errands, hanging out... the only (and I mean ONLY) thing I don't like them for is kayaking - my heels rest a little uncomfortably against the bottom of my boat. Other than that, these are good for everything, and they look as good as the day I bought them.

My boyfriend had a pair of chacos and finally convinced me to get some and they are incredible! You need to wear them around a few times to break them in before taking them on any long journeys, but they're incredibly durable and comfortable. I would recommend the Unaweeps over the Yampas since you can get more versatile use out of them: you can wear them around the city or on a backpacking trip without having to worry about enough traction and durability. I usually where a size 7.5 but since they don't have half sizes, I got 7s and they fit perfectly.

I don't even care that they're ugly as hell dirty-hippie sandals, these things are amazing. They're comfortable and I can walk for miles in them over all sorts of terrain. I have amazingly high arches as well as bunions forming (think ballet dancer without the grace) and these things support even my terrible feet.
Adjusting the straps is tricky though and I could see how if you didn't have tough waitress feet like mine that the footbed would be uncomfortable.

I really tried to like this sandal, but my feet didn't well for it. I walk with my toe up and because of that it made walking a long time in the shoe hard. THe other thing I noticed is that the sandal continues tightening up. Every day I had to loosen the shoes up. I switched over to the chacos without the toe loops and I really like them. I can hike and walk around all day with them. They are great sandals but just be aware of the toe loop thing.

I love these shoes. Now, it is true that the foot bed is a bit rough and my feet took some time to adjust to the rough texture at first. I wear these shoes everywhere all summer long. The straps are adjustable to your size and shape of foot. I've had my oldest pair for five years now, and I've still not worn them out. For me, these shoes are perfect.
