The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Stretch Belt:
I love this stretchy belt, and bought one as a gift and one for me. Very comfortable, and lays flat. Alas, my buckle has broken a small but important part of the plastic hinge. Trying to find another similar metal buckle on Etsy.

Comments about REI Stretch Belt:
I wear this belt every day, with my Craghopper Kiwi pants. If you use tools at work and put them in your pockets, this belt wont hold up your pants.
All in all I love this belt.

Comments about REI Stretch Belt:
I've been using one of these for months, and find it to be very comfortable and excellent at its job. With a some middle age spread, it far outperforms other belts I've tried, including my favorites of 45 years. It is such a pleasure I'm planning on getting a couple more. I haven't put it to anything strenuous, just holding my pants up.

Comments about REI Stretch Belt:
This belt is just OK the first time you use it. Thereafter, it stretches more and more until you need to shorten it to even use it. Hint: You can cut and singe the end to use it like a normal belt after it stretches too much to be useful.

Comments about REI Stretch Belt:
I have used it for everyday wear and hiking. During everyday activities the fit was good. It was like adding an elastic waist belt to my pants. I could slide my pants on and off with undoing the belt. But when I took it hiking it began to stretch more and I would have to pull up my pants, tighten the belt some. the belt is nice, but only average. The belt is WAY TOO stretchy! the extra from the belt being tighten stretched all the way to my back.
