    Love Brooks stuff and these are no exception. Super light, super cool with the mesh panel on the side, surprised the description doesn't highlight this as it is a big benefit. These are summer only shorts unless you are inside running. My only complaint is they don't have side pockets. I do long runs and need these for gels.

        This was a great find during REI annual sale. Comfy, right length for me, not too short (don't like when my shirt covers shorts and I look like a have no shorts at all), not too long for a hot summer days. I'm a long distance, both marathons and half's, runner so I know a thing about being comfortable:) Has a zippered pocket on the back if you need to store your key or have your gel in there. I would prefer to have an option of different than black color and side pocket which is helpful for putting your sun glasses/watch during or after the run and not be afraid to drop them. After I got one pair in the store I ordered another one online since I couldn't find my size in the same store again. [...]
