The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Keen Owyhee Sandals - Men's:
I bought these sandals as an last minute item before a trip to the Caribbean, and am so glad I did. They were comfortable and cool, easy on and off, could even be worn right into the water. The only problem I had with them was debris could get caught in them, and I couldn't shake it out without taking off the sandal.

I hike/swim NorCal rivers. These sandals are a hiking shoe - water sandal hybrid. I have a heal spur and need the heal support (not just a strap) these sandals offer, when hiking / scrambling into various swimming holes. I give them high marks in every catagory except that they do not perform well when swimming upstream in the current due to the non-draining toe-cup, which I may drill some drain holes into.

I used these for jungle and urban trekking in Cambodia and Thailand. They held up to the mean streets and the thick foliage. Great buy!

This is my fifth pair of Keen sandals. Used to wear Teva sandals but I kind of like the toe protection Keen offers. Great for walking, light hiking and chillin'!

Used these on vacation; at the beach, scaled a water fall and used them to workout in the gym. Perfect for any situation

I wear these as my daily shoes at my casual office job and on the weekends. It's been a month or so and they still look new with essentially no special care despite repeated lake dunkings. They have a bit less arch support than my last pair of no-name outlet sandals, but still decent. Very comfortable and apparently durable overall. I'd like an overall darker style but I'm willing to compromise for functionality.

This is my third paair of Keens and I will probably come back for more. It's just a good all around shoe. I recently tried a pair of Merrill Camelions since they had a similar foot-hugging shoe. Had to return them for poor quality. The toe flap came unglued and the heel stitching broke. No more Merrils for me. The Keens are very versatile. I even wear them with Smart Wool socks on cold days.

The perfect shoes for taking my dog down to the creek or for trips out to the lake. I wish I had gotten a pair a lot sooner!

Comments about Keen Owyhee Sandals - Men's:
I bought a pair of these a little over a week ago for a white-water rafting trip and wore them for 8 days straight, 6:30 am until 8:00 pm every day (with the exception of long day hikes up side canyons). All I can say is that they were great and perfect for what I needed. My daytime activities required decent toe protection and good traction on wet surfaces in the rafts and on the river. These sandals provided excellent overall protection for my feet. They had impressive traction on wet surfaces, under water, and even on cobbles that had a thin film of algae. They basically served as great shoes for rafting, short hikes up side canyons, and "chill out" shoes in the evening. They dried up pretty quick and were easy to slip on/off after/before long hikes that needed my hiking boots.
The only con that I would give these sandals is that if you have flat feet (like I do), there isn't much arch support and the straps in the center on the insides tended to chaff my arches a little. But this wasn't too much of a problem because my feet got used to the chaffing pretty quick. If you blister easy and have flat feet, I recommend wearing some wool socks with these (wool socks have the added advantage of keeping your feet warm even when wet).
I can't say much about their durability as I've only had them for about a week, but they are definitely solidly built.
