The Pearl Izumi X-Alp Seek IV bike shoes boast a running shoe style upper and a carbon rubber lugged bottom for cycling and off the bike adventures.
- Quick-drying, breathable mesh and synthetic leather uppers offer protection and durability
- Dual-density EVA outsole/midsole has denser EVA between pedal and foot placed to absorb shock, return energy and provide cushioning on and off bike

I use this on my Road bike with Egg Beaters and my Mountain bike with pinned platforms. Great feel and very stable hikers, similar to my 5.10s. Deep enough cleat pocket so the plate doesn't clank when walking around.

I like these shoes because they are more like regular shoes and less like hard core biker shoes. The sole isn't as stiff which is a little less efficient than other biker shoes but they are a lot more comfortable walking around in than biker shoes.

Got these shoes as an alternative to my road cycling shoes. I bike a lot with my wife and daughter to festivals, parks, etc and needed something i could walk around without having to carry flip flops with me. I've been very pleased with the shoes. I've spent several hours walking in them and never thought about them, which is a good thing. Laces are a little long, but I just tuck them under.
