These Pearl Izumi Select Gel women's bike gloves offer just the right amount cooling comfort, UV protection and bump-damping support for a long day on the road.

  • Soft, durable Clarino® synthetic leather palms maximize comfort and grip
  • On the palms, strategically and anatomically positioned U-Bridge gel pads absorb shock, protecting nerves in wrists
  • Mesh palms help reduce overheating and perspiraton by bringing the cooling benefits and sun protection of white fabrics to dark fabrics
  • In addition, Icefil® polyester fibers employ multistep cooling to ensure comfort in heat and humidity
  • Polyester stretch fabric on back of hands wicks moisture and enhances ventilation; soft fabric on the thumb gives you a gentle place to wipe your nose
  • Direct-Vent mesh ventilates while providing UPF 40+ sun protection against harmful ultraviolet rays

    I bike 12 miles a day to work, and these gloves have worked out very well for the past 6 months. I like the grippiness and fingerless design- it gives me a little bit of chill protection until I warm up from biking on cool days, but not so much that I overheat on warm days.

    These gloves stretch a tad with time, so if it feels a little tight at first, it will ease up. I like the little tab that allows me to pull the gloves off easily on the fourth finger. These gloves are just lightly padded, so you might want to look elsewhere if you need more serious padding. They provide the right amount of damping for the bumps in the roads I encounter on my way to work. Also, these gloves wash up very easily- I just throw them in the washer and dryer, normal cycle.

    It would be nice if they made the velcro tab around the wrists more substantial, because I find that they sometimes come undone. Overall, I would buy these again. They are not to expensive, and have performed solidly.

    I love these gloves, however from pulling them off the stitching is coming up on the one palm. They are also a little tight, but are stretching over time. I love the color!

      This is the first pair of cycling gloves I've ever purchased. They fit really well and have a neat little "easy off" feature on the 4th finger.

      The padding is well placed and doesn't interfere with hand movement.

      I like the reflective detail, which on my white gloves makes my hand signals really "pop" when I'm riding home from work at 10:30pm!

      Love these.

        Riding in South Florida, a good padded glove that is lightweight is great even on the long distances (over 50 mi).
        The sun protection is obvious by my wrist's tan line.
        Comfy and practical.
