The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Patagonia Island Hemp Pants - Women's:
These pants are comfortable and flattering. I have one other (heavier) pair of hemp pants by Patagonia from a past season and LOVE the fabric. (Note: These pants are hemp and cotton, not linen.) The fabric drapes beautifully, holds up very well, and I personally believe it wrinkles less than linen. I am 5'3" and 125# with muscular thighs, and the size 8 fits me perfectly. The cut around the waist, hips, and thighs feels flat and tailored and looks flattering enough to wear with a shirt tucked in or out. I bought these for work intending to wear with Dansko clogs and as-is the length is still about 1" too long, but I don't mind hemming. Be aware that the style is pretty wide-leg (I think it creates a nice silhouette but figure it's worth mentioning.) One other thing I love about thes particular pants is that the front pockets are not those wimpy fingertip pockets that you sometimes find on women's pants - they're nice and deep.

Comments about Patagonia Island Hemp Pants - Women's:
I loved these pants from the first time I tried them on. They felt like wearing nothing. Fit was great, length a bit short for me (5'9" with long legs), but worth it for the comfort. I wore them all summer nd then through my travels in India last winter until they were ruined in a laundry incident (put in a bucket with cheap, colorful tourist clothes). They were surprisingly easy to hand wash and line dry if there was a little sun, without becoming a mass of wrinkles. I am planning on replacing the lost pair now that I am home.

Comments about Patagonia Island Hemp Pants - Women's:
I've been looking for straight fit normal khakis all season. I figured Patagonia was a tried and true but I was thoroughly disappointed. The pants are a very, very cheap linen that is extremely itchy. The fit is decent and they look nice other than being pretty see-through. Definitely not typical Patagonia quality.

Comments about Patagonia Island Hemp Pants - Women's:
The size 6, which is my usual size, was a little too big and fit strangely, but the 4 fits like a glove. I am 5'9" and weigh 125 lb., if that helps to determine your own size possibilities. The pants are dangerously close to being too short, but they are so nice and so flattering, I took the risk. I washed them in cold water and line dried them, and thankfully, they didn't shrink. They dried a bit wrinkled, but not bad, so I plan to use them for travel to India and general wear in warm weather. Was thankful to find something with no spandex or synthetic fibers for summer.
