            Comments about Ergon GP1 BioKork Handlebar Grips:

            Put these grips on a Brompton folding bicycle. They're comfortable and a definite and worthwhile upgrade. The only why I didn't give this 5 stars is because this doesn't appear to be cork in the traditional sense of cork grips. There might be some cork in here, but it feels more like rubber, which feels fine. If you're expecting a real cork feel, you might be disappointed. No idea how these will wear yet. It's only been a couple of months.

            I love the grips. They look great, they feel great, and they installed as easily as grips should/can.

            But for the life of me I can't get the right grip to stick. The left is OK. The right twists over the course of a few hours. I've tried a few tricks to no avail. Right now I have some electrical tape on the bar under the right grip. That seems to keep enough friction on the grip to hold it for commutes.

            Anyone have another idea?

              I bought these to address wrist pain, probably from over-flexing my wrists on the trails. These did address that problem. Working with the angle of the grip you should be able to find one to reduce wrist flexion while riding and reduce pain caused by this. Also, the cork looks very cool, especially with my bronze-colored Specialized FSR. I have used non-cork Ergon grips on my road bike for years, but just got these for my MTB. I don't really notice a function difference between the my new bio-cork grips and the non-cork.
