The Kelty Sleep Eazy air bed includes an easy-to-use rechargeable pump for a comfortable night of blissful slumber.

PVC-free, 70-denier nylon is laminated to thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU); puncture-resistant construction stands up well to the rigors of travel and camping
Material is stretch resistant to provide constant air pressure and comfort
Rechargeable 6V pump rapidly inflates air bed; plug pump into car lighter or charge at home for cordless operation at camp
The rechargeable pump valve twists and locks into place for inflation or deflation; when locked into place pump will not detach from the mattress

This is a great air mattress. The pump is what is so great about it. Yes you have to charge the thing, but it comes with a wall adapter and a car adapter. Once charged you are good to go. It fills the mattress fast. The valve on the mattress is the best I've ever seen, real simple and real effective. The best part is deflating the mattress. The pump sucks all the air out. It comes with a nice carry bag too.

I used this air matress at burning man for 12 days in 90-105 deg weather and I only needed to refill it with air once. It holds up well in the heat and quite frankly it is the best air mattress I've ever owned. the material isn't too comfortable so you'll need to cover it with something unless that doesn't matter to you. the rechargeable inflate/deflater works amazing and helps me pack it up very small with very little effort. Overall combined with REI's satisfaction gaurantee I would say buy this it's the best air mattress on the market.

When visiting couples stay at our small house, we put them in a room with a built-in bed; one sleeps on the bed and the other on the floor. We'd been using a thin foam mattress, shorter than normal because it fit a child size bed. And one male visitor was uncomfortable, so we sprung for the Kelty air mattress. He loved it. I was amazed at the improvements over the years in air mattresses: Thick fabric, light-weight, and with a pump to do the inflating for us. Excellent!

Bought this to use camping, but had a guest coming so thought it would be a great time to try it out. NOTE: Follow Kelty's recommendation to charge the pump up a full 12 hours before use. The pump will NOT work off of AC or car battery if dead. Once charged up it inflated the mattress easily and it stayed inflated without needing air for a couple weeks. When time to deflate, reverse pump and it sucks the air out. After guest left, I slept on it a couple nights and it was comfortable and firm. Can't wait for the first night out on the Blue Ridge. This thing works. No gimmicks or other nonsense.

My husband & I purchased this bed to sleep on here in the U.S while we waited for our furniture to arrive from Australia. We had an apartment, and used this air bed for 4 weeks until our 'real' bed arrived.
I also have a really bad back, so we were concerned how I would go.
I found it really comfortable, every night, I didn't wake up in pain or discomfort once!...this really surprised me and am now glad that we have it as a spare bed at home, and for camping.
In four weeks we added a little air 'once' and that was it, it held its shape and firmness for 4 weeks.
It packs away beautifully small, so in a small apartment this is great for us!
The pump is really quick and easy to use, and deflates it for you just as quick, no rolling and squeezing the air out like other air beds.
All in all, a great purchase for us!

Used primarily as a guest bed, and it's pretty comfortable for an air mattress. Put a feather bed on top and it's suddenly plush! My guests loved it. We are taking it car camping.

With respect to another review, the manufacturer does not recommend the mattress be used below 40, so I'm not surprised it sucked in cold temperatures. I guess it's three season.

It was super easy to inflate and deflate and packs up really small. I thought it was a worthwhile purchase to have a spare bed in a small home.

leaked on pre-use set-up test in advance of house guests/grandchildren. Difficult to find source of leak,ended up renting beds for family guests. Would expect better quality control from Kelty--
Would recommend only upon disclaimer to pre-test before putting to use. Perhaps a one-off experience considering overall Kelty reputation. REI staff most gracious and professional in handling return.

Bed was very uncomfortable for two people sleeping, there is not much isolation across the bed and any movement will disturb your bed mate. Also, I used this at 8500 feet and 40 degree nights, the bed offers very little insulation. I also had a very difficult time getting the bed inflated to a firm setting with the provided inflater.

I found this matress very comfortable - though a bit short (I'm 6'3). I have a bad back and shoulders and found it much better for car camping than the alternatives (ie thinner pads). My only gripe really is you have to remember to charge the pump battery every time you go camping. The battery does not hold a charge for very long. Nor does the car charger seem to work - or at least work in a reasonable amount of time (ie less than 3-4 hours). I wish they had designed it to work off your car cig lighter (rather than to just use the cig lighter to charge the batteries). I found this out the hard way. Fortunately, it is possible to blow this up with your mouth. But needless to say, this is not fun.
