      Good, tough duffle. Throw your things in it and just go. I have large and extra-large base camp duffles that have lasted for YEARS without any noticeable wear and tear. The zippers are tank quality and never catch. Handles/straps are rock solid and the ballistic, rubberized (whatever it is) material handles everything and is very water resistant (I take them to the beach all of the time). Yes, pricier than your average duffle, but will outlast you basic gear hauler 5 times over. The shoulder straps are a nice bonus, but I never really use them. I guess you could use them in a pinch, but I use my backpack if I'm going to be hauling something for any distance.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
