    I bought this bag for a trip to Europe where I would have multiple stops. I chose this one over the REI bag as it had a bigger central compartment, was lighter, and had carry straps long enough to go over my shoulder if I needed to carry it up or down stairs.

    The bag was big enough for a lot of clothes and presents, and although I got the black version, the red base inside made it easy to see items. The red wheels not only worked fine, but made it easy to spot on a luggage carousel. The material was robust enough to cope with plane luggage holds and train travel.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
