Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge II Convertible Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I love the fit of these pants - most convertibles are way baggy, but these actually fit. I bought one pair and was so happy I bought a second pair. Two cautions on fit: (1) I had to take the first pair back because pants made of this kind of fabric need a longer inseam - it doesn't drape like heavier cloth. (2) I didn't try on the 2nd pair before buying, and found that the waist was about an inch smaller than the first pair. [...]

Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge II Convertible Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
These pants are fairly lightweight, very breathable and durable fabric. I'm tall and lean and they fit me very well. The size I have, S, feels like about a 30-32 waist and about a 34-36 length. Yes, the length is a bit long, but better that then short. The pant legs are also fairly skinny, especially when compared to other brands which tend to be balloon-like. The fabric holds up well after repeated use, washings, stains, everything, and dries quickly. Total of 7 pockets is very useful. I use these mostly for climbing and hiking. The belt they come with is not as effective as it should be, and can easily come undone, but the waist elastic is very good.
After over 2 years of regular abuse, these are still going strong.

Comments about Columbia Silver Ridge II Convertible Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I think these are great pants for warm weather, especially when traveling. They fit my fairly slim frame very well, the light mat'l is cool & fast-drying, the zip-off lower leg feature makes them very versatile, and they weigh very little & pack small. Plus, they have two very thoughtful features that I like a lot:
1) The zip-off lower leg sections do not have zippers up the sides. So yes, you have to take off your shoes to remove them, but there's less to break, they look better, and you gain the ability to hem them up if you like.
2) The pockets are large and unusually well-designed. For example, one cargo pocket can be zipped shut (good for valuables), while the other has a velcro closure, for quick, easy access. Same with the back pockets. It's just a nice touch, and one that's turned out to be surprisingly handy.
