      Loved this at first, but will be returning it becuase its become useless. I;ve had it about 16 months and what was once a great water/foodbowl has become no longer useful for water. It seems to seep through the waterproof fabric after about 3-4 minutes, and in a few hours probably loses a full 6-8oz of water. There are no rips, holes or tears as far as I can see--it just lost its waterproofness.
      I;ve taken this bowl on several backpacking trips and it fits nicely inside my dogs REI ultra dog pack, which is why I bought it.
      I guess its cheap enough to be considered disposable, but I like my pet products to last longer.
      I will be purchasing the Ruff Wear Bivy pet bowl becuase I believe it will retain its waterproofness. I am worried it wont pack down as easily, (and its twice the price) but I think in the ong run it may be a better choice.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          I am pleasantly surprised by this product, it is attractive, sturdy and folds nicely to fit into a purse or bag. It's just what I was looking for. Oh did I mention that it holds water too? Well I tested as soon as I got home and filled it with water and left it and not a leak in sight.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
