Great coat. Very light and easy to pack. Good on a cool day and very easy to bring along. I wear under a parka and provides great warmth when I need more than a shell.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Men's:
Bought this here at the end of winter and I don't know how I lived without before it or how I could live without in the future. Love the sleeve length especially, all details are thought out and compresses to nothing. Slips easily under shells and over base layer clothing, looks flattering and above all and most importantly keeps you freaing WARM!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Men's:
I compared this to the Down Sweater and almost went with it but after thinking it over, I considered the continued warmth when wet a feature one cannot be without especially in conditions that one would need to wear something like this in the first place. I'm very satisfied with the cut, build quality and attention to deatail.

LOVE this jacket! I needed an 'in between' jacket that I could wear with workout gear, jeans, etc. It's warm without being too heavy or bulky.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Men's:
I purchased the TNF Blaze jacket. I was really impressed with the jacket, however with my arm length the jacket was to short. So, returning that jacket I purchased the Nano Puff by Patagonia! Once I got it and put it on, I immediately noticed the great fit to my body! The jacket was lighter, seemed stronger and warmer than the TNF jacket. I have no complaints about this jacket! Great jacket, great for outdoor adventures and especially great for a cold belay at the crag!

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Men's:
I really liked the cut and look of this jacket, and it's lightweight and packable. However, I was looking for something that could serve as a nice, warm mid-layer, and this just isn't very warm. I found that I would start getting pretty cold if I stopped being active for any length of time at around 35F. I know the Nano Puff isn't meant to be a stand-alone piece, but the Patagonia Down Sweater is considerably warmer for the same price and weight (provided it doesn't get wet). Overall, this is a nice jacket, but you should make sure it matches your needs before you cut those tags.

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Men's:
Picked up one of these on clearance to try as a replacement for my soft shell jacket and fleece layers, especially for hiking and backpacking. I initially wasn't too excited about the color (red), but stock was limited and the price was right. Turns out I got used to the color and don't mind wearing it around town.
The jacket is well designed and seems reasonably robust considering how light it is. In the backcountry it works well as a mid-layer under a heavy down jacket or rainproof shell. For this I chose synthetic over down for the major reason it will still insulate when wet. I would not trust it to be "water-resistant" and shed water when used as an outer garment in the rain.
Personally I find it difficult to justify paying multiple hundreds of dollars for these types of jackets, but this one was a reasonable deal at clearance time and I'm really happy with it.

The Nano Puff is so comfy and warm on a COLD & WET San Francisco night.
Best use is for running to the corner Pizza joint for last call with just a T-shirt underneath the Puff. "Mm mm mm mm mm ... toasty".

Comments about Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket - Men's:
What sold me on the Nano Puff was reading about a PCT thru hiker who thought it was terrific on her trip through the Sierra high country. That and a 20% member coupon cinched the deal. It was nice to shed my fleece jacket and some ounces for this on a backpack trip. It packs down to next to nothing. It's also done well as a layer for cross country skiing.
The downside are that the sleeves are a little short for me. A bigger concern though is the vest pocket zipper. It continually snags the material and doesn't operate smooth anymore. I have to be very careful and I've gotten it stuck really bad a few times (with my phone inside the pocket). If it fails altogether then I won't be able to pack the jacket using the vest pocket.
