I have a Medium, which fits perfectly (5'9", 150 lbs, 36B). It's not too tight, seems to hang nicely, falls at my knees, and the fabric is incredibly soft. Casual enough to wear for a normal warm day, and nice enough looking to wear for a party.
The best surprise about this dress is that it has a small (~3.25 x 3.5 inches) internal pocket by the bottom hem on one side -- just the right size for lip balm, credit card, and a couple keys!
Yes, it's probably too expensive, but the fit and comfort pans out.

Purchased this on clearance, otherwise would have been markedly overpriced. I am a size 10/12 dress and the XL fit fine. I expect to wear a cami/sport top under this in summer as it is otherwise WAY too revealing with zero support for DD- and straps make wearing 'bra only' impossible.
So far, in winter, I have been wearing it with a long sleeved shirt under it. I have also worn it with tights and boots and a sweater over it. Love the colors.
For the price, it is worth a little extra effort. At full price, no way.

I have loved the Amaya dress since buying one last year in store at the REI in Austin. At that time, I bought a medium and it fit perfectly. This time around, I ordered a Small at REI online because I had lost about 10 lbs. Turns out, I should have stuck with the Medium after all. I am 5 ft 6 in and currently 118 lbs. I found the small to be a little too tight, esp around the bust (I am between a 32 and 34 B now). I think the Medium will work better, and it was also very comfortable when I was closer to the 130 lb mark. To expedite my online orders, I always just purchase another item in the corrected size, and return the original, requesting a refund or credit on my card. Seems to save all the time shipping it back.
