I got this at REI on sale for about 6 bucks. And let me tell you, I wasn't expecting much from this little mug/tumbler. I ended up being pleasantly surprised at how much I used it and how much I enjoyed having it with me.
I'm usually a minimalist when it comes to gear, but this little wonder caught my eye when I was browsing the store. It's relatively small, and fits nicely in an average hand. The outside stainless steel doesn't attract too many fingerprints and stays pretty clean. Even the cap is sturdy and feels nice and snug. My drinks (usually tea) stay very hot for long periods of time, so sometimes I have to be careful not to burn my tongue when taking a swig. I've had this tumbler for about 4 months now, and I've used it as a 'luxury item' when hiking, a travel mug, and just for basic everyday use.
Overall, I highly recommend this product. You really can't go wrong with it; it's attractive, functional, durable, and inexpensive.

Forget coffee, this cup is ideal for a young child as a sippy cup. My son uses this for milk and loves it. He is 4, so obviously no need for the restrictor type but still need the ability to limit a large spill. This is PERFECT! He thinks he is a big boy yet I still have some comfort in knowing it will limit a spill. It is great for travel in the car, at the table, etc. Love, love, love this cup! My 8 year old daughter is so jealous, I'll need to find her one that is bigger.

I was looking for a cup to replace my Korean style ceramic tea cup and infuser that shattered when it hit the stone floor at work. It's the same size as the ceramic one (6oz) and the MSR stainless steel tea filter fits perfectly to steep and re-steep my cuppa Pu-erh - like a steel yixing. I thought it might tip over easily but it's very stable and if it does fall - Doppios bounce!

Saw someone else using this on a self-supported bike tour and instantly knew it was perfect. History lesson - a "cup of coffee" is officially 6 ozs. This was so small and light that I didn't realize at first that it is insulated. Fits perfectly in the hand and never burns.
That camp coffee in the morning, the wine at dinner, heck, you can even split a beer (unless you want to pack ice). Throw it in the wash water, throw it in the pannier, drop it, bang it on the campsite table - you can't hurt it.

This cup is the perfect size for true Italian style espresso drinks. It is very well insulated, and I use mine all the time. The only big problem is that the paint is chipping off from putting it in the dishwasher (It happened the very first time I washed it). This would not be such a problem if I could get one that was not painted at all. The stainless steel on the inside still looks fantastic, but the outside got ugly very fast. Make one with no coloring on it at all, and I will buy a dozen of these things.

I purchased this on a whim during a recent trip to REI.
What I really like about this cup is its insulated ability - no lip burning here.
Its pretty light in weight too. I measured it at 3 1/2 ounces for the body, 3/8 ounces for the lid for a total weight of 3 7/8 ounces. While I'm camping off the back of my BMW R1150 GS, weight is still sort of important. If I was backpacking, I might be looking for a lighter alternative or consider leaving the lid at home.
On the road, I'll use this with those Starbucks Via instant coffee packs. Made in this small container, its going to be more like instant expresso, but I'm ok with that. I think I'll be able to store the coffee packs inside the cup when I'm not using it to drink from. Not sure about that. Ok, now that I measure it, I'm pretty sure they won't fit. The cup is only 2 7/8 inches deep (on the inside) and the lid fits a full 1/2 into the cup, so I doubt they'll fit, without molesting the packets.
A 5 star rated cup would be taller to hold slightly more and those un-opened packets of coffee as well.
But this is still a good cup!

It seems a tad small at first but I've come to see it as an ideal compromise between use and portability. The double-wall is comfortable and effective. The top could have better spill protection. Other than that, it's a cup -- what else can one praise? I carry it with me daily.

I'll probably take this cup hiking, but I bought it to keep my coffee hot at home. Ironically, doppio--"double" in Italian--is perfect for a single-shot cappuccino (6 oz). I preheat the cup with some boiling water and my drink stays hot even if I get distracted.
Simple lines look good and clean easily. Sharkskin is the color of brushed stainless with a tint of sage green.
If every other insulated cup is starting to look like a Big Gulp to you, consider this little guy.

Great little cup fits the hand, holds a good serving of your beverage of choice and keeps it hot /cold for the duration.
