Comments about Lezyne Power Water Bottle Cage:
Very Sturdy, Superior Design
I returned two REI Cages that the weld had broken on and applied the purchase price to two Lezyne's. Rather than waiting for my other two holders to break I am buying and installing two more. I ride a recumbent bike and the holders are mounted on the back of the reclined seat which apply's more stress to the cage (it has to support the weight of the bottle). The Lezyne is a superior design.

Comments about Lezyne Power Water Bottle Cage:
I've had trouble with "standard design" aluminum cages; they don't hold up well when you use them vertically behind the saddle (as on a tri bike) on rough roads. I ride crumbly country roads and gravel often, and with full bottles they deform sideways or outward, dropping bottles. Uncool.
Because the Lezyne cages loop back onto themselves, they are not prone to that problem. Given that they are still a reasonable weight, and hold my bottles snugly, i'm very happy with them. I am even using one on my training bike to hold a bottle full of ball bearings (about 7lbs) on the downtube, and it is dead solid! The last cage i used that way cracked a weld, even with the bottle strapped to the frame.
