        I'm on my second pair of these boots. They are comfortable and warm. The fit is good for maximum kick. I've never had to retie the laces. The velcro strap keeps the snow out. They seem to be virtually waterproof. At first, the heel rubbed and there were blisters; a problem I have with every boot. But they broke in by the 3rd use.

          I use this boot almost daily throughout Yellowstone winters. For the most part it is warm, though I'm prone to cold feet. The boot is versatile as it is good for groomed trails as well as back country. I would like a bit beefier boot for deep snow/hills/more advances stuff, however. The boot is comfortable, my toes have room to wiggle. I have the women's boot, though I've used the men's boot with no problems as well. I'm on my 3rd pair of this boot.

            This boot has great ankle support and is nice and wide. Unfortunately it rubs at the base of the big toenail where the boot bends. I've given ample break in time and it continues to be a problem. The other issue is it's not waterproof. Moisture seems to come in around the top area where the toe cap is. The front half of my socks were soaked daily on a 5 day trip. Another person on the trip also wore this boot and had the same problem.
