          I bought three pair for running because I liked the style and price. But after maybe 5-6 wearings I already had holes in the toes on two of the pairs. Really disappointing.

            As with items such as this, it usually is very personal. For me, these socks are perfect. They are comfortable, never feel like they are there, stay dry, keep my feet from getting hot, and whatever else a sock is supposed to do. I try and buy a pair every few times as I am slowly replacing all my ankle socks with this brand.

              Finally wore out the toes of my first two pair after FIVE years of 2 to 4 times weekly water aerobics. The rest of the sock still is perfect. Tried some cheap socks- waste of money. So I again purchased several pair of these Wrightsocks; all still like new after 2 years. No sag, no bunch, no wrinkles under foot.

              For long life - I wash on gentle or in bag and hang to dry; I never put in dryer.

                I've never been a runner until I challenged myself to do a 5K. I use these socks exclusively (in cold and hot weather), at the recommendation of my local running store experts, and have been nothing but amazed...with a sock! I've now run multiple 5Ks and have done the Warrior Dash in these (super muddy and wet) and every time they have kept my feet blister-free and have cleaned up so the performance is like new. Even the sand and mud that got between the layers washed out. I now own only these socks and give them a 10/10...worth the [$]...for a sock!

                  I use these socks at the gym. My feet tend to get very hot and damp but not in these socks. They are incredibly comfortable, well padded and cool. I highly recommend them.
