Patagonia Loulu shoes are refined enough for the big presentation, but comfortable enough for all-day wear, solidifying them as great all-around shoes for every day.
- Supple, extra-soft full-grain leather uppers are sourced from tanneries that strive to minimize harmful effects on the environment caused by their activities
- Wide toe boxes and a generous fit provide all-day comfort
- Wool linings and merino-wool-topped footbeds naturally regulate temperature and move moisture away from feet
- EVA midsoles are made from 20% recycled EVA and deliver shock absorption for all-day wear
- Outsoles are stitched onto uppers, which minimizes the need for solvents and adhesives
- Outsoles are made from 70% all-natural latex, harvested from hevea trees and molded into a distinctive honeycomb pattern for ample traction

I bought these mostly for work and dressing casual. They look good, minimal and have lots of room in the toe box. I normally wear minimal shoes like Merrell and Vibram Five Finger Shoes. Most shoes now a day have too much cushion and I feel that they hinder me from strengthening my feet/balance.

I've searched for shoes with enough toe room and these are the only ones that fit my feet. They are great for everyday use as well as more rigorous thing. The only problem is that they don't breathe super well. They do conform to your feet though so get a 1/2 smaller (a little snug) because they will loosen up nicely. I plan to get a another new pair for when my current ones wear out. Great shoes though, especially with wool socks.

Half my day is at my desk or in meetings, the other half is out in the Sonoran Desert. On trails, discussing projects or walking through campgrounds the Loulu's have performed well. Comfortable with a moccasin feel, suitable for meetings or walking along trails, great shoe. Tread provides traction but doesn't carry debris back into the office.

These are by far some of the best shoes I have ever owned. Comfortable all day, Can walk miles with no problem, They look awesome and wear great on the uppers, There IS one HUGE issue though as many people have said the soles wear out really fast! the honeycomb my let you have the most stylish bottoms of the feet but with how soft the rubber is it wears really fast. I gave them 5 stars beacuse I love them I just hope that they are easy to resole cause the top will be great for years to come.

I prefer a "barefoot" minimalist style of shoe, both in the athletic and casual varieties. These shows fill the bill. I find them to be well made and very comfortable. I wear them frequently and they are holding up quite well. While not "very" minimalist, they do have a nice small heal/toe offset, a wide toe box, and provide decent feedback while still doing a good job at protecting your feet. The sole manages to insulate my feet enough from the cold concrete floor at work. If you need lots of arch and support, these are not for you. The styling is not for everyone either, but I started liking the way they look more and more as I wore them. I have seen other reviews imply they are dressy and talk about wearing them to work. My opinion is that they are anything BUT dressy... these are casual looking shoes with a non-traditional funky look to them. And if your work requires business attire, these will not cut it. But for comfy casual and social wear, and for casual work environments (like mine), these shoes are great!

I just picked up a pair of these in 11 Mens from REI. I needed a good "go to" shoe I would throw on and walk a few miles in if need be.
When I first tried them on I found they are lighter than they look and house one of the widest toe boxes I've ever had. Even with the ample space at the toe box I find the laces adequetly keep your foot in place. Shoe fits true to sizing.
I like the fact that the shoe is made responsibly and is pretty much as organic as one can find. The leather is supple and the over-all feel is very comfortable.
I'm proud to support a brand like Patagonia with purchasing their product would highly recommend these shoes (in brown) to anyone. My girlfriend is the who picked them out originally!

This is an overpriced fashion house shoe best worn in an office setting. I have had them for almost 1 year and the sole is nearly completely worn out, the laces have rotted and the footbed is wiped out. The outer sole allows water to permeate to the thin inner "pad".
