        While wearing these slippers my 2.5 year-old grandson slipped and fell down a flight of stairs -- It seems the small plastic bumps on the soles which are intended to create resistance are actually very smooth and instead create a quasi ball-bearing effect -- this is a feature that should be redesigned!

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            These really are great little slippers for all the above mentioned reasons. However, they are so incredibly tight around the ankles. My daughter (17 months) is very much average-sized and her foot measures 5.5. These slippers are K5-6 and fit well in length but not at all in girth at the ankles. She tugged at them the moment we put them on. Beware.

            I bought it today for my daughter who is 6yrs, and she wants to sleep with them, she loves to wear around the house. its very comfy. I am going to get this again for my toddler too.
