Comments about Eagle Creek Transfer Tri-Fold Wallet:
I was looking for a small wallet for my trip to Costa Rica as I was only planning on bringing an ATM card, license and 1 credit card. I have and like Eagle Creek travel bags so I trust the brand.
The wallet folds up almost credit card dimensions and has a strong velcro that keeps it slim with everything sealed tightly inside. The coin holder was just right for a handful of coins and the billfold section is wide enough to accommodate those wider foreign bills. It's great for traveling in those densely crowded urban areas because it hides right into your clothes, away from the eyes of pickpockets.
I saw some complaints about quality but all the stitching and materials looked just fine to me. Using any thicker materials would make the wallet bulky and heavy. I threw the wallet around in dust, dirt, sand, beer, rain, puddles and just brushed it off to get it back to its clean and tidy look. But this is a travel wallet for me. Since I don't plan to use it everyday, it won't get that daily wear and tear but I can see myself using this for many more trips to come.
Lastly, I did a lot of searching online for competitive products and this wallet is by far the best looking one I saw. Its discreet muted, two-toned design is quintessential Eagle Creek. I'm super happy with this purchase.

Comments about Eagle Creek Transfer Tri-Fold Wallet:
Bought this wallet for travelling because I wanted one small and slim enough to fit in a pocket and not be too noticible or easy to steal. This one fits the bill. I like the zip pocket for coins, and this is a bit expandible. However, you don't want too many coins as this would hinder the ability of an easy tri-fold and add to bulkiness (curse the Aussie 20 and 50cent coins!). Super secure velcro closure. Slots fit all my licenses, credit cards and such.

Comments about Eagle Creek Transfer Tri-Fold Wallet:
I bought this wallet about 1 year ago and have used everyday since. The wallet is made of a coarse nylon that is black on the wallet exterior, and deep blue on the interior. The interior of the wallet also features a different weaving pattern consisting of approximately 5 mm squares.
There are three main storage spaces in the wallet: a drivers license slot with a translucent plastic cover, several slots for credit cards, and a large bill compartment.
I am partial to slim-type bi-fold wallets, so that is what attracted me to this particular item. Now that I've used it for over a year I can say that the wallet works well for everyday use. I like that the wallet is relatively slim, but my major complaint is that the wallet is very stiff...though I realize that that maybe due largely to the credit cards in my pocket.
All in all, a decent sturdy wallet with room for some bills and a few cards.

Comments about Eagle Creek Transfer Tri-Fold Wallet:
I bought a wallet of the same name and design about 15 years ago. I loved the design and it served me well. This wallet is in worse shape than the 15 year old wallet after less than a year of use.
