Comments about Mountain Hardwear Callisto Jacket - Women's:
I went to the store with the intent to get a North Face bionic jacket, but I'm six feet, athletically built. It just didn't fit well-short sleeves, narrow shoulders, short body, which was surprising given how many other TNF products I have. I grabbed this one randomly and was pleased by the fit. The sleeves are long and have the keyhole openings for the thumbs when it gets chilly out.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Callisto Jacket - Women's:
This is my first soft shell, and it's great. I have worn it cross country skiing and ice climbing and the fit allows good freedom of movement and is fine to wear with a pack. The soft long cuffs are great. Size S fits me well (5'6", 120 lb), although the cut is slightly boxy around the shoulders and chest. The pockets are good, but the zipper pulls are a bit small to use with thick gloves. The dolomite colour also makes it a nice looking jacket for around town.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Callisto Jacket - Women's:
I had a really hard time rationalizing spending [$] on this (it was on sale), but I have essentially lived in it since I got it. I love the fit on it and the extra lining by the wrist helps prevent the jacket from sliding down arms. The thumb holes are great for cold hiking or biking. I've worn it in light rain and its kept me dry-it hasn't seen real rain yet. I wear this under my waders a lot and it keeps me very warm without being bulky. It's also stylish enough that my boyfriend allows me to wear it when we go out. Con-I do wish it had the chest zipper, but the inner zipper sorta makes up for it.

Use this jacket everyday during the fall/winter/spring months. Even though it's a light jacket, being windproof is a big deal to me in the fall/winter when it can get super windy!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Callisto Jacket - Women's:
I really like the fit of this jacket. I am 5'5'' tall and about 115# and the small fits perfectly - I can wear a fleece under it if i need some extra warmth. the arm length is great and i love the thumb hole on the sleeve lining so you can pull it down over your hands. The inside pocket is also really nice for holding important stuff or hand warmers. The only thing i could think of that would make this jacket better would be a detachable hood.
Comments about Mountain Hardwear Callisto Jacket - Women's:
This is a great windproof jacket that doesn't feel too stiff compared to some of the similar jackets I tried on from other brands. The sizing does seem to run very small, but that was actually good for me since I'm petite, so XS was a perfect fit. Wore the jacket on a windy hike and didn't feel the wind at all through the jacket. It also keeps you pretty warm.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Callisto Jacket - Women's:
I am pear shaped, but I fit into most large jackets fine. This was quite tight, even though it is stretchy. It is nice and soft inside , stretchy outside. It be wind proof, warm and light weight. I'd go up a size though. It was pulling at the back without any layers. The style is a tight for layering in general and that's part of the concept.. Still, compared to a softshell from Columbia the fit was way tighter.

I spent a long time searching for the right soft shell, and I absolutely love this jacket for its versatility, durability, and fit. It works both as an essential piece of gear and a jacket for work/school.
