Signed up for some winter 5k's and was unprepared for how the cold went through my other pants, even with under-gear. Bought these for the next race and they are fantastic. 2nd race was colder, but I was still warmer. Without the under-gear to boot.

These pants fulfill their intended purpose wonderfully. I run & walk in temps 30-50F and they keep me warm and toasty, without suffocating me. The handy zip pouch, reflectors, and ankle zips are great perks as well. I also keep my house pretty chilly during the winter and these pants are the BEST at working around the house and lounging in.

I have recently decided to train for a full marathon... having completed three half marathons i was concerened with training in the weather conditions of oklahoma... My sister works for REI and recommended these Brooks running pants.. I recived them on a friday and that saturday ran a 5k in them... They are ture to their size chart... I usually wear a medium but had to get a large... They fit perfect around the waist no bunching and moving while running... They are very lightweight and very warm... I never really notice my legs sweating while running but these pants never made me feel cold or wet... I definatly recommend them.. Even though they are a little pricey they are well worth it.. thanks for the recommendation sister...

I love these winter running pants! Thin soft lining for running below 40degF, keeps me nice and warm. Not too tight, not too loose, not too low on waist, not too high. I am a size 10/12 with larger legs and smaller waist and the size L fits perfectly. I'm 5'7" and these are long enough to cover ankles.

Yes I would recommend to several friends and will!
I purchased these because they were on sale and I needed a pair of britches for hiking during the winter months in Southeast Alaska. I am so glad I took a chance. They have turned out to be what I wanted and more from comfort to warmth, plus they feel great on. I'm hoping they do not pill like all my other pants this style, so far so good tho!
