This jacket is pretty great for around town ~ enough for temps down to 30, or 20 if you're not out long. My only hang-up is the pockets. The chest pockets aren't uniformly sized (one is considerably smaller than the other three), and the hand-warmer pockets aren't available when the jacket's reversed. But it's a nice jacket ~ I'll keep wearing it.

I normally wear medium/large, and the medium fits well. I'm told it looks great. It's very comfortable down to the upper 40s with appropriate layering, but anything less than that I'd leave it at home. Just not well-insulated, not meant for colder temps. But above that, it's a great jacket. I have my Marmot 3-1 (in some variation) for 40s and below, this jacket for above that, and I don't think I'll need to jacket shop for quite a while.

when i find something i like, i buy two of them - because i know i'll never see it again. so, like the other guy, "i liked the black one so much i bought the brown one." this price is now cheaper than when i bought mine - so you are the lucky one. also, true to size. i am an xl and it actually fits. i hated myself before i bought this coat. now, i find myself quite tolerable. buy this immediately.
