Comments about Kokatat Lightweight Hand Jacket Paddling Gloves:
I just bought a pair and the July 4th weekend paddled Spicer Meadow Res., Lake Alpine, Lake Utica, and Lake Union circumnavigating some of them more than once. these gloves are not tight or restricting, held up with my massive abuse and protected my hands. With the wrist bands they don't shift with your paddle motions. Don't know why Happyscientist had problems. I use these with a Werner Ikelos paddle 215cm paddling a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 145. The gloves are not too thick to make paddling uncomfortable. I put 'em on and just paddle until sunset. As long as you're back to the parking lot by dark-thirty, it's all good!

Comments about Kokatat Lightweight Hand Jacket Paddling Gloves:
These gloves are better than going bare-handed, but they are not worth the money. The seams on the inside of the thumb rubbed after about an hour of kayaking. Also, the finger length was awkward; the leather bunched at the knuckles and made movement difficult. They are okay for about an hour, but not much more.
