Comments about Smith Parallel Polarized Sunglasses:
The only drawback is that there is a slight distraction the way the edge of the lens reflects light its the bottom of the lens and its only when your on the bike and you are looking downwards.

Comments about Smith Parallel Polarized Sunglasses:
I've worn these glasses for years--my favorite sport sunglasses, ever. They have a perfect grip that always holds even when wet/sweaty but has never caused tension/pain. I play competitive tennis and these are the only glasses that stay on in a match and don't fog with excessive sweat. Frame sits just above your cheeks so they dont get hot and fresh air can circulate.
The depth perception in the lens is excellent. I've worn them rafting, hiking, skiing, and biking. The clear lens is great for rain and the red lens is excellent for dusk activities in transitioning light, or flat light ski days. Friends have borrowed these glasses and purchased their own because they like them so much. I had a pair for 7 years and lost them (still in good condition)and I have no problem paying the price to replace them. Best sports accessory I've ever owned.

Comments about Smith Parallel Polarized Sunglasses:
I really like these shades. They have been everything I wanted. I think I might I have scratched them in a high corner but that was my fault and otherwise I have had no issues.

Comments about Smith Parallel Polarized Sunglasses:
I've always worn Smith sunglass, but they've never been with the replaceable lenses. When I was a raft guide, I worried I'd lose a lens while out and about. Now that I have a pair of Parallel sunglasses, I realize that my worries were unnecessary. Lenses are very easy to remove, yet they are very secure while in use.
If I had to list a con, it would be with the selection of additional lenses included in the box. In addition to the polarized brown lens, mine included an ignitor (purple/red-ish) lens and a clear lens. I don't know if will ever use either. I would have loved a gray or a platinum lens. I don't think REI sells additional lenses...
Overall, a great product. I'm glad I bought them!!

Comments about Smith Parallel Polarized Sunglasses:
I have been wearing either Ray Ban Aviator or Smith slider style sunglasses (when introduced) most of my life. These glasses provide me with the most versatile eye protection I have experienced. The wraparound interchangeable lenses are stylish as well as functional for most every activity. Driving, flying, golfing, biking, river rafting and ocean sports are but a few of the activities that I find them excellent in use. I especially like the coverage without any visual obstruction. These glasses are ultimately the best.
