The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Mountainsmith Borealis AT Camera Pack:
I travel with this pack a lot. It keeps my Camera and Laptop safe while on the plane. It counts as a "personal item" even though it's about the size of my "carry on bag".
I also ski with this pack. It holds my camera, 3 lenses, extra batteries, cords, etc. most of my gear fits in the bottom clamshell, leaving the upper portions available for snacks, a coat, keys, phone, etc. The pack has a lot of room for day use, and can be compressed to keep it from moving around. Also, the clam shell has a little extra safety strap to keep it from falling all the way open. I skied down a Black diamond with it open, and none of my gear fell out. (not recommended..)
One added bonus, the bottom compartment padding has a nice curved shape to it. Coincidentally fits perfectly in the sleeping bag compartment of my 70liter multi day backpack. also, when you remove it, the backpack becomes one cavity. the top compartment goes all the way through making it a simple pack.
As for construction. this pack is nicely over built. The materials are a little thick, and the zippers are a little chunky. the wire frame is heavy gauge. It makes it a little heavy, but when you are carrying thousands of dollars in camera gear, you want it to be protected.
There is also a chest pack option for this backpack. I highly recommend it. You are much more likely to take a picture if your camera is handy. The backpack is for your other lenses etc. This pack has clips built in to attache the chest pack.
I can't recommend this pack enough. Makes other ones look weak.
