Our family now owns five of these bottles and we use them almost every day. Each member has their own bottle for carrying their own cold water whether we are out and about town or on a day hike or camping trip. They are easy to keep clean due to the wide mouth design, keep everything the perfect cold or hot temperature, and stand up to the daily rigors of being toted around, and do not leave plastic-y taste. I highly recommend these! I've tried many bottles over the years, including the fancy Sigg bottles, cheapy plastic ones and everything in between. I anticipate using these for many years, no need to keep looking.

This travel mug is a great alternative to a traditional coffee mug. I fill it up with coffee in the morning and clean it out to hold water the rest of the day. There is no residual coffee taste. I also take it with me to coffee shops to use instead of disposable cups. Over time I will have the mug paid for with the discounts I get on coffee :). It is a bit expensive for a mug but overall it is well worth the money and I would buy it again. I would recommend it to anyone.

This water bottle is the best one I have ever purchased. It keeps cold water very cold and hot tea nice and hot. Wide mouth makes it super easy to clean. NO plastic taste or worries about leaching into my drinks. The only tiny complaint is that if the lid isn't screwed on perfectly it can leak a bit when laid on its side, but that hasn't been a problem very often.
I use it for classes, when hiking and camping, or just running around town. It pretty much is always in use. Eventually everyone in my family will have their own and we will eliminate all plastic water bottles and also the Sigg bottles we've had for years (too hard to clean and eventually the lining was breaking down inside)

Klean Kanteen (insulated) is awesome. I love that I don't have to worry about plastic bottle waste. It's also great for keeping things cold. Only downside is leakage. I think it may have to do with the lid.

This is my all time favorite drinking vessel. It is very functional and use mine for both a water bottle/cold beverage container, and a coffee mug with the optional cafe cap. It keep everything drinkably hot or cold for very long periods of time without imparting a lingering flavor. So impressed by company and customer service. I'm writing this after 3 months of use. I loved this product until it started leaking recently. I'm not sure if it was always poorly sealed, and I just now happened to turn it upside down. Regardless, it leaked this morning while being carried on its side. I'm at work and covered in coffee. I've never misused the product -- It's never been washed in a dishwasher -- if that even matters. Not sure why it's leaking now. After noticing the leak, I unscrewed the cap and rescrewed it on as tight as possible. It leaked again when I turned it upside down. I'm very disappointed because until now this product was great. It retained hot/cold very well. Nice size.

I use this primarily for transporting coffee, from home to work. As a bicycle commuter, this item would seem essential as one shouldn't have to worry about temperature fluctuation and spills/leaks.
However, this bottle does not seem to solve either of these issues like i hoped it would. After a few weeks of use, it no longer holds a temperature and the cap seems to leak. I will be returning this product.

The search is over for the holy grail of thermoses. For years I tired numerous other thermoses, which failed to meet the following crucial criteria:
- Made of metal, inside, outside, and inside of lid (i.e. no plastic in contact with contents)
- Did not leak under any circumstance
- Was simple in design, thus reducing the likelihood that it will leak as it ages
- Easy to wash
Believe it or not, that was a pretty tall order. It seems that most other thermos makers out there have over-engineered their bottles in an attempt to appeal to people who like "features". The result is usually a thermos bottle that has flip-open drink tubes (unnecessarily complicated, impossible to wash thoroughly, and prone to leaking), or were made of plastic on the inside. The Klean Kanteen insulated series is design perfection. Nothing but a bare-bones thermos that is made of stainless steel inside and out (even the underside of the lid is stainless) that does its job. This really helps with keeping your beverages tasting like they should, and also helps prevent your beverages from leaching into the thermos itself. Seriously, why has it taken so long for someone to produce such a simple yet obviously necessary design feature?! Also, the Klean Kanteen insulated thermoses have very simple lids with no unnecessary vents, flaps, openings, etc. It simply screws down tightly and seals up for good. This is one of the few thermoses out there that you can throw inside your backpack, upside-down for hours, and not have to worry about one drop of liquid getting out. It is REALLY sealed shut. Gone are the worries about your coffee leaking out into your bag or onto car upholstery.
While it does not have the extreme insulating capabilities of the glass & foam lined thermoses, I have found that it does its job quite well. It will easily keep hot beverages hot for 2-3 hours (maybe longer), which is plenty of time in most instances. What it loses in seriously long-term insulating capability compared to the glass thermoses, it makes up in weight savings. Although it is made of stainless steel, it's actually not very heavy, and I think it is the perfect compromise between insulating capability and low weight. I use mine to take coffee to work in the morning, and also fill it with juice when hiking, etc. It works excellently in both settings, and I really can't recommend this product enough. Klean Kanteen really nailed it when they designed their insulated thermoses. Buy one!
