The Blaze Dynamo Generator bike light is made to be powered by a wheel with a Dynamo hub (not included), and therefore uses no batteries.

  • Works with a 6v, 2.4- or 3-watt generator hub, not included
  • Steady and SuperFlash modes; flash mode is highly visible, even in daylight
  • Power reserve function keeps light working when you stop; light stays lit for a short time (about 5 min. depending on ride time) even when the bike is stopped
  • Optically-advanced lens provides superior beam pattern

    I converted my bike and my wife's to dynamo hub and this is the light we picked. So far, after almost 2000 miles of touring/commuting it's holding up fine.

    I like the multimode. I use the flash mode at dusk and dawn and while on tour when I had to travel through fire areas with smoke so thick it cut visibility to 1/4 mile or less. I could see the light reflecting off speed limit signs ahead of me and so I knew it was letting oncoming drivers know I was there.

    It works great in night mode (steady) too and is bright enough to light a path far ahead.
