    Comments about Petzl Spirit Bent Gate Carabiner:

    i dig em. i've used em sport climbing, and prefer wiregates on the rope end of the draw, but these are burly. if you're preplacing some draws, why not throw some of these on...it's not like the weight matters. what i REALLY like them for however, is clipping em to my aiders when i'm on the walls. the bent gate makes em easy to slam into a piece when you're stretched out and shaking. sturdy and hefty. i dig em. pick two up for your etrier/daisy chain sestup.
