The bag has one main compartment that is divided into two smaller compartments by a center divider. The divider has a slot in it large enough to hold a manila envelope. The back portion of the compartment has convenient top access, so getting to your laptop is no problem. There is also a small zipper section on top and a mesh compartment (big enough for a small power strip) inside the front portion of the main compartment. This compartment also houses a thin zippered section. There is a water bottle holder on one side (note the gray area in the pictures) and a Velcro pouch on the other side. A cell phone or GPS holder is attached to the strap. I would not recommend this bag for someone with a large laptop, but for a small to medium one it is ideal. The bag itself is comfortable, but the strap is not removable and therefore cannot be replaced.

We were looking for a practical diaper bag that didn't look girly or cutsie, and this fit the bill perfectly! The main compartment is roomy enough for clothes, baby wipes, changing pad, etc. and it keeps its shape. The padded computer compartment and extra pocket fit diapers and bags. A great feature is that one can access the main compartment using either the curved main zipper one one side of the bag or the computer pocket zipper on the other side. The top pocket fits wallet and keys. And the 2 bottle holders are great for formula. After 16 months' lugging everywhere, it looks brand new.
When our munchkin outgrows diapers, we'll use this as a commuter bag.
