Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:

I am training for a marathon and wanted to get something that wouldn't move around on my long runs. This is a great running belt and it's very convenient to be able to adjust the water bottles on the belt (I've had others that I was unable to move, which became an issue after awhile).

The only issue I have with it, which was easy to overcome was clicking in the bottle to the belt. I've worn the belt for several long runs and I noticed on the runs I was very tired, it took a little extra effort to make sure I heard the "click" (with a couple drops to the pavement). It's easy to get used to, but this is the only reason I didn't give the item 5 stars.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:

I first tried a handheld water bottle with strap to train for a marathon. I did not like the weight/holding it in my hand so decided to try a hydration belt. I first bought the Nathans (or something like that) brand with 2 water bottles but it bounced around a lot and the water bottle lid broke on my second run when the first time i dropped it while filling up at a drinking fountain. I took it back and got this amphipod which was the best move I could have made. I love running with this product as it is comfortable, fits a phone, keys, and energy bars. Really enjoy using this product.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:

If your bottles are falling off, you're doing it wrong. Make sure you get a properly secured click - it can click in but not be secured.

I've been wearing this belt for over a year on mountain bike rides and go through rock gardens and send up to 5' drops and have never lost a bottle - so those that are loosing bottles are DEFINITELY doing it wrong (or have a defective product).

I love not having to wear a backpack for up to 10mi rides. The pouch carries my pump, a spare tube, a patch kit, a multi-tool, a first aid kit and a few energy bars.

I'm not sure if this is the right Amphipod belt, as the pouch I have looks a bit bigger than the one in the photo.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:

I originally purchased a different hydration pack by Amphipod that had an adjustable waist band, not velcro like this one, and it would constantly get loose and cause the bottle to bounce. This one is awesome, NO BOUNCING!! I'm not a heavy duty runner by any means, but when I do train, I like to be comfortable and this pack is comfortable. My 22 year old son tried it out and purchased one too and he's pickier than me:))

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:

I wear this belt on my training runs for the 2011 MCM. I have worn it on three runs so far (5, 5 & 10 miles) and I have had no issues with losing bottles or excessive bouncing. I did adjust the bottles to sit horizontally and tightened up the brackets as recommended by other reviewers. Compared to my Camelback it has no bouncing. The belt is very comfortable and the velcro secures it snuggly; I almost forget it's there during the run. I added an extra pouch to the front to hold my iPod and some Honey Stinger Energy Chews (the pouch on the back is too hard to reach during the run). I also bought a couple of extra water bottles to add to the belt for when the training runs start getting longer. Another benefit of this belt is ability to adjust the position/add components to the belt. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this product.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite AirStretch Hydration Belt - 21 oz.:

I bought this item on a business trip to ABQ, NM and have used it almost every weekend for 9 months. Running (street or trail) and hiking have been my main uses and I would recommend this to those that don't like a camelback or hand bottles on their runs. I also had a problem with the bottles popping off during trail runs that required steep climbs/descents. I fixed the problem by just adjusting the bottle holders to fit the bottles long ways across the belt... no more dropped bottles! And no leaks as long as the caps are tight and nipples closed! I also adjusted how I wear the belt to reduce belt bounce with the larger bottles (i have 8oz & 10oz bottles for max 4 bottles on hikes). I use the mesh elastic pocket for a hand towel for the warm weather here in San Antonio (home). The pocket is ok, it could have more elastic/expandability for keys and jel's but Amphipod sells this separately if you have to have one... I make do without it. The belt is also handy for my ipod and anything else I need to attach. The velcro waist is easy to adjust and comfortable with no( 8D ) or multiple layers of clothing. Get your Run On!!!

Great little pack. I use it for trail running all the time and have never had trouble with the bottles coming out. Perhaps the others were defective (or simply user error).
Have tried others, this is simply the most comfortable & effective.
