Amazing little light! not for lighting the camping area, but perfect for close-at-hand tasks. Light-weight by design, it never feels as if it will fall forward, and is perfect for backpacking when each oz. saved is critical. Replacement batteries are very light and used pose no waste/weight quandary. (I buy replacements at $1 stores and it is cheap to feed its need) Although wonderful for camping, mine gets its major use as an unobtrusive book-reading light in bed! Great product!

Best thing since sliced bread! I don't know how I got along without one. No more hand held flashlights for me. You can adjust the the beam - bright for those "oops stayed out too long" night hikes. Or you can dim it down to read at night at camp, in the tent, or in your own bed at home. It adjusts/tilts up and down. Its small enough to stash anywhere. You can remove the head strap and clip the light to the brim of your ball cap, or sternum strap. As far as I'm concerned it does everything right, and nothing wrong. After having mine, I picked up one for everyone in my family.

This nice little headlamp is much brighter and reaches a longer distance than I expected from the other reviews. It also has a nice design so when it's fixed in the clip, it won't get turned on accidentally. So lightweight, it's perfect for backpacking.
