Purchased this bag for summer backpacking. It is totally over-rated as a "40-degree" bag. I'd say about 55-degrees at best.
It's extremely thin and there isn't even enough down in the bag to spread into a solid layer. I held it up to a light and could see the down in small clumps (after letting it loft for two days.)
The bag is sufficient for hot summer backpacking (i.e. when you don't actually *need* a bag) or for using indoors. Wouldn't risk temperatures below 60.
I believe Lafuma bags are not in the same league as the bags normally sold at REI stores. This is an "outlet" item and I can see why. I've returned the bag. ("If it seems too good to be true, it usually is.")
