Comments about Lafuma Warm 'N Light +30 Down II Sleeping Bag - Regular - '09 Overstock:
This bag Is great at the REI Outlet price! I have owned a Marmot Helium bag and a Mountain Hardware Phantom 30 bag. Those bags may be a touch lighter than this Lafuma, but at half the price this Lafuma bag is a great choice if you want a quality light-ish sleeping bag, but would rather not spend an extra hundred dollars for one of those competitors bags. My only complaint is that the bag seems a tad long for a regular sized sleeping bag. It is 7 feet long! Still, it kept my 5'10" 138lb. body warm, although it was only used at temps in the middle 40's... so I cannot really comment on the bags claim of a 30 degree rating... though I suspect that you would be cold in 30 degree temps. I always pick a bag assuming it will only be comfortable to ten degrees above the claimed temperature rating. So, A 30 degree bag will only be comfortable at 40+ degrees... wearing nothing more than boxer briefs and a light T-shirt. Anyhow, I dig it for the price... Just seems a bit long for a regular size bag. 7 feet... wow! Are they sure this isn't the long version? ALSO, REI Outlet has the weight listed at 22 ounces... this is not the case! The bag weighs 1 pound 13 ounces, as printed on the tag.
